About Sarah

The quickest, most convenient way to feel energized, stronger and nutritionally supported every day
Wanna know a little bit about me?
I'm in my 40s and a mom to three very active boys. Fitness obsessed? I call it passionate. I've been in the gym since my early 20s, but as I got closer to 40, I started pushing myself outside my comfort zone. Y'all, that's where things changed. I haven't looked back. These days, I'm hooked on CrossFit and bodybuilding.
At 40, I entered my first NPC Bikini Fitness Competition and won first place in the Masters Division. That lit something up in me. I knew the fitness community was where I wanted to be. Helping people get motivated on the outside and feel good on the inside felt like my purpose.
What I know about fitness and nutrition comes from doing the work myself, through the ups, downs and figuring things out. I've been frustrated but ready for a change, too. I needed help and guidance, and I was lucky to learn from the best trainers I could find. Now I want to share that experience with you.
Refresh the real you!
I've learned how much a nutritious, varied diet matters to a balanced life, alongside work, play, love, sleep and sharing good food. FreshFit 405 makes eating well easier when time is short. You shouldn't have to choose between a busy life and healthy food that tastes good. Whether you're a parent, student, entrepreneur or just want to eat better, our meals are ready to eat, with nutritious ingredients to fuel your body and refresh your mind.
Love what you eat.
Our food philosophy is simple: balance. Love what you eat, and eat to support a long, healthy life. A meal should give your body what it needs without excess, and leave your mind, heart and soul happy, too. Cutting out too many calories or giving up flavor isn't a happy way to eat for the long haul. My cooking focuses on disease prevention in otherwise healthy people. To me, healthy means balance, moderation across all nutrients, and plenty of the good stuff, like vitamins, minerals, fiber and omega 3s.
I seek out local and organic options… but have a fairly unhealthy obsession with chocolate.
I use whole, unprocessed foods and look for local and organic options whenever I can. I dabble in gluten free, vegetarian and vegan cooking, while keeping meals familiar and easy on the budget. At home, I cook for a man and three boys who love frozen food, pizza, tacos, fried chicken and anything with buffalo wing sauce. It's a challenge sometimes, so I meet them partway. We all share a pretty serious love of chocolate, which means I make plenty of chocolatey things!
Eat good. Feel good. Do good.
